Aloe Vera

Healing, soothing, antibacterial and moisturising properties. Contains B complex, Folic acid, C, and Carotene. Great for healing, dry & damaged skin, acne, dandruff and sun protection. Along with Kakadu Plum and Pomegranate, Organic Aloe is a feature of all Stem Organics products.

Bearberry Extract

Assists with fading skin hyper pigmentation spots.

Cetyl Alcohol (Vegetable)

Derived from vegetable extracts and is a natural thickener, emulsifier and carrying agent. Cetyl alcohol is non-irritating, does not dry the skin, and is not known to complicate acne.

Chamomile Extract

Used for its soothing effect, anti-inflammatory properties, antiseptic and skin softening qualities.

Chamomile Essential Oil

With anti-irritant, soothing, and antioxidant properties it is reputed to bring down swelling and pain in the skin and mucous membranes.

Decyl Glucoside

A mild cleansing agent extracted from glucose from sugar. Non-toxic, non-irritating and will not block the pores.

Echinacea Extract

Helps speed skin healing due to acne, eczema and other problems. Great for wrinkles, greasy skin, detoxifying, healing, calming and to firm and tone.

Evening Primrose Oil Full of essential fatty acids (10%), which inhibit bacterial growth and allows your system to defend against infection and inflammation. An exceptionally nourishing oil, Evening Primrose Oil assists with rejuvenating skin, brittle nails, dry skin, eczema, to break up psoriasis, and as an anti-wrinkle agent.

Glycerin (Vegetable)

A rich humectant, emollient and lubricant naturally extracted from vegetable oils. (Synthetic glycerin, derived from propylene alcohol, is highly irritating to the skin and scalp and should be avoided.) Draws moisture from the air to the skin, makes the skin feel softer and smoother.

Goldenseal Extract

Used as an astringent and a tonic, to reduce skin toxins.

Gotu Kola Extract

Known as the 'elixir of life' for stressed skins, it rejuvenates and heals, and is useful for wounds, dermatitis, scars, and to stimulate collagen synthesis. Gotu Kola is a key element in skin repair and regeneration.

Grapefruit Essential Oil

As a natural toner, it is a purifier of congested, oily and acne prone skin, with an uplifting natural fragrance.

Green Tea Extract

A powerful antioxidant, 20 times stronger than Vit E. Helps prevent free radical damage caused by sun pollution and protect and revitalise the skin, with antibacterial and antioxidant properties, and Vitamins E, C and B.\

Horsechestnut Extract

Useful for psoriasis, eczema, dandruff, sensitive skin, red skin and cellulite. Horsechestnut is also an excellent treatment for blotchy and sensitive skin. It helps to strengthen capillaries and is anti-inflammatory.

Helichrysum Essential Oil

A wonderful essential oil. Fantastic for decades old scars, eczema, inflammation, itching and skin regeneration. Also known as Immortelle.

Hydroxy Methylglycinate

This amino acid derived preservative is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial that is active against bacteria, yeast and mould.

Jojoba Oil

A highly penetrating oil that closely resembles skins own sebum. High in EFAs and protein, it is useful for superficial facial lines, psoriasis, skin itches, eczema, wrinkles, to improve skin texture, and as a barrier to moisture loss. Contains myristic acid, which is anti-inflammatory. Also suitable for acne prone skin as it won't clog pores.

Kakadu Plum

A wonderful antioxidant from the wilds of northern Australia. Kakadu Plum one of the world's highest fruit source of vitamin C. Great as a skin tonic. Along with Pomegranate, Kakadu Plum is a unique feature in the majority of Stem Organics skincare products.

Lecithin (non-GMO soy)

Contains phospholipids for smoother, healthier more hydrated skin. Helps restore the barrier function of the skin, protecting it from substances like bacteria and harmful chemicals; it is also extremely high in natural fatty acids.

Mandarin Essential Oil

Contains flavonoids and vitamins A, B, C and E. A natural skin purifier with an uplifting fruity scent.

Meadowsweet Extract

Naturally contains beta hydroxy acids to smooth and soften skin and hair.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)

Topical application of niacinamide has been shown to increase ceramide and free fatty acid levels in skin and to prevent skin from losing water content. Useful for anti-ageing purposes. A 4% strength has been found to be successful in helping to fight acne, particularly over an 8-week period.

Olive Leaf Extract

Helps reduce skin damage due to UV radiation and pollution. Useful for skin hydration and elasticity.

Orange Flower Extract

From the orange blossom. Along with its sweet fragrance it is helpful in relieving dull skin. It is suitable for all skin types since it does not irritate and is also useful for the treatment of broken capillaries under the skin's surface.

Pomegranate Extract

Pomegranate may be one of the most potent wrinkle-fighters, as it is high in polyphenols and powerful antioxidants, and its extract can increase the SPF of topical sunscreens by 25 percent. It is an amazing, healing fruit. Along with Organic Aloe and Kakadu Plum, Pomegranate is a feature of all Stem Organics products.

Potassium Sorbate

Derived from naturally occurring unsaturated fatty acids; it is a safe and effective, food grade preservative.

Pro-Vit B5 (Panthenol)

Panthenol is the pro-vitamin of Vitamin B5, which improves the moisture-retention capacity of the skin and stimulates skin regeneration. It also has an anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effect. Panthenol is beneficial for hair, reducing hair splitting, thickening the hair and providing sheen. It also greatly increases the water retention capacity of the fingernails, increasing their flexibility and stability.

Rose Essential Oil

As one of the most complex of essential oils it is useful for all skin types, especially: acne, dry sensitive skin, mature skin wrinkles, broken capillaries and eczema. It's scent is also renowned as an aphrodisiac.

Rose Hip Oil

High in linoleic and linolenic acids as well as Vitamin C, which are essential for the health of the hair, scalp and skin. Used for damaged skin and where regeneration of new skin cells is needed.

Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil

Protective, healing, regenerative, high in Vitamin E and useful for anti-ageing purposes. The richest herbal source of vitamins E & A, which prevent formation of free radicals. Absorbs UV rays, heals wounds, and is beneficial for acne, eczema and dermatitis.

Sunflower Oil

An emollient extracted from the seeds of the sunflower. Rich in essential fatty acids, Sunflower Oil is very high in essential fatty acids and helps to moisturize, regenerate and condition the skin. Good for mature, sensitive and dry, damaged skin.

Sweet Orange Essential Oil

A natural skin purifier with an uplifting fruity scent.

Tangerine Essential Oil

Tasmanian Kelp

Seaweeds are full of anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and contain many minerals.

Tea Tree Essential Oil

An antiseptic and germicide. Minimises most skin irritations including acne.

Tocopherol (Natural d-alpha tocopherol)

Also known as the antioxidant vitamin E. Vitamin E is anti-ageing and helps protect against UVA & UVB. This natural Vitamin E is from soy.

Vanilla Oil

From the vanilla bean and used mainly for its great aroma.

Willowbark Extract

Contains potent antimicrobial properties. Active against two of the skin flora implicated in acne Staphylococcus aureus and Propionibacterium acnes). Also increases the cell renewal capabilities of cosmetic formulations.

Xanthan Gum

Used as a natural thickening agent.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

The pure essential oil normalises sebum production and is useful for dry, oily or combination skin.
